About Mile 22 Coffee Co
Our Story
Mile 22 Coffee Co began in 2020 with a simple idea, how to roast coffee with no artificial flavors and low acidity.
What started as a small roasting setup in our basement quickly turned into something much bigger. After experimenting with roasting methods and learning everything we could about coffee, we began sharing our beans at local farmers markets throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
The response from the community was incredible.
Over the next few years, Mile 22 Coffee grew from a small hobby into a full coffee roastery and café in Black Creek, Wisconsin. Today we continue roasting every batch with the same care and attention that started it all.
Our coffee is air roasted in small batches, allowing the natural flavor of each bean to shine. We believe great coffee doesn’t need shortcuts, just quality beans, thoughtful roasting, and a passion for the craft.
Whether you're visiting our café, catching us at a local event, or ordering beans shipped nationwide, we're grateful to have you as part of the Mile 22 community.
